In August, 19-year-old player Evgeny “r3salt” Frolov joined the 9Pandas team, replacing Timur “clax” Sabirov. The organizations 9Pandas and Aurora made a trade and finalized the details of the deal two days after announcing their new rosters.

– "I just didn’t like how we were working on ourselves. I felt like I was stagnating, and it made me uncomfortable, but as a player, I want to grow. I have no complaints against anyone and I don’t blame anyone. Maybe I really was the odd one out there, and now everything will be great for them, but it wasn’t what I needed. In 9Pandas, I got what I wanted. From the first days at the bootcamp, we’ve been training full speed ahead," the player explained about his motivation for the transfer.

9Pandas triumphed over their opponents Eternal Fire in the finals of PARI, PLEASE’23, securing first place and earning $60,000 in prize money. The Pandas won three out of five maps, finishing the match with a commanding 3-0 score: 13-9 on Anubis, 13-7 on Overpass, and 13-11 on Mirage. PARI, PLEASE’23 was the first B-tier LAN tournament victory for the Pandas.
