9Pandas Conquer the HLTV Top 20

9Pandas reached 20th place in the global HLTV rankings after their victory at the PARI Please 2023 LAN tournament.

In the finals of PARI Please 2023, 9Pandas secured a confident 3-0 win over Eternal Fire, earning them 19 HLTV ranking points. The November 20, 2023, ranking update solidified the team's position at 20th place with 98 points, with their peak score reaching 107 points.

– "Breaking into the top 30 was crucial for the team because, at the very beginning, TryHard Dan set a goal for the team to enter the top 30 before his 30th birthday. Now that we've achieved this milestone, we'll continue setting even more ambitious goals," said 9Pandas CEO Julia Sotnikova.

In August, 19-year-old player Evgeny “r3salt” Frolov joined the 9Pandas team, replacing Timur “clax” Sabirov. The organizations 9Pandas and Aurora made a trade and finalized the details of the deal two days after announcing their new rosters.

9Pandas triumphed over their opponents Eternal Fire in the finals of PARI, PLEASE’23, securing first place and earning $60,000 in prize money. The Pandas won three out of five maps, finishing the match with a commanding 3-0 score: 13-9 on Anubis, 13-7 on Overpass, and 13-11 on Mirage. PARI, PLEASE’23 was the first B-tier LAN tournament victory for the Pandas.
